HOW DOES IT WORK?
The first step to achieving clear, healthy, radiant skin is a deep cleanse to remove any impurities. A Tri-Fruit Acid Peel is then applied to your skin to unclog your pores and improve skin texture, priming your skin ready for the main event.
The Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment. This magic tool both stimulates collagen and targets discolouration on your skin, such as freckles, pigmentation, vascular breakouts and general redness whilst you lie back and relax.

AM I SUITABLE FOR ILLUMIFACIAL?
This treatment is perfect to alleviate congested or discoloured skin or skin with visible signs of ageing but before you can hop onto the treatment bed you will receive a full consultation first to make sure that your skin is suitable and tailor the facial to your needs.
This treatment is not suitable for dark skin tones.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?
Some customers have commented how quick and comfortable this facial is and others have mentioned a slight tingling sensation that quickly subsides. Some stages of this treatment can be mildly uncomfortable – similar to a quick pinprick and a warm feeling which is very mild. We advise a minimum of 24 hours recovery time.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
The Illumi facial is a non-invasive treatment, using safe, medical-grade equipment to minimise side effects. Your skin may be slightly red and a little swollen immediately after treatment, but this will fade very quickly. Most people experience no side effects and any reactions usually disappear within a few hours, leaving your skin radiant and healthy.
EPN MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS
We take pride in being among the pioneering clinics in Huddersfield to offer this groundbreaking treatment, which integrates electroporation to augment and optimize results.
Our EPN microneedling treatments are the world's first to utilise electroporation. What does this mean? It is the production of a short electrical pulse that creates temporary pores in cell membranes to enhance the results of your treatment.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF OUR MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS?
Our EPN microneedling treatments help to generate collagen so your skin feels tighter, smoother and softer. After the treatment, you will see a smoothing of visible fine lines and a reduction in the appearance of pores for fresh, bright, tight and hydrated skin.
HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?
Ultra-fin needles gently penetrate the skin at different depths, creating micro-channels that stimulate a wound healing response. . Once the micro-channels have been created, electro stimulating pulses are released to increase the permeability of the skin cell membrane. Our method of microneedling significantly increases the amount of serum delivered to the skin compared with traditional microneedling treatments. There is very minimal downtime with this treatment. You may notice slight swelling and redness immediately after treatment but this should fade quickly.
AM I SUITABLE FOR MICRONEEDLING?
Many skin types, tones and ages can benefit from microneedling. Younger skin that doesn’t require lifting and tightening but has specific concerns such as enlarged pores or uneven skin texture can benefit from microneedling to improve overall skin quality.
If you’re looking for tighter, firmer skin, microneedling can help with this too and every treatment is customised to the client to provide the depth and intensity required to see results.
If you are looking for hair growth through microneedling, our treatment is suitable for all hair types, textures and colours, but it will not replace completely bald areas. For this treatment to be suitable, you need to have follicles in the area to be treated.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?
Some customers say that during the treatment there is generally minimal discomfort. A topical anaesthetic is available if you have sensitive skin and wish to apply it prior to the treatment (please let us know when you book)
WHAT RESULTS SHOULD I EXPECT?
Most customers see an improvement in the appearance, texture and tightness of their skin two to three weeks after the first treatment and your results continue to improve up to 12 weeks after the final treatment.
ACNE TREATMENT
Acne can be effectively treated with Intense Pulsed Light, either alone or combined with other clinical treatments.
We use Intense Pulsed Light treatments to reduce and soothe acne. We prefer to use this method as it delivers great results whilst reducing the risk of inflammation and break-outs after treatment.
HOW DOES PULSED LIGHT WORK?
The light emitted from the Intense Pulsed Light system directly targets overactive sebaceous glands to reduce the appearance of acne, inflammation and break-outs. The light rays stimulate the growth of new collagen to enhance and rejuvenate skin cells, this also reduces the appearance of red or brown spots that are associated with acne breakouts.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?
Some customers say that the experience is mildly uncomfortable, describing the sensation as similar to the flick of an elastic band.
WHAT RESULTS SHOULD I EXPECT?
Immediately after treatment, the skin is cooled with a calming gel to reduce any redness or warm tingling sensation.
If you do feel any tingling or see any redness don’t worry it is normal and it will fade within a couple of hours.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
A typical treatment session is approximately 30 minutes.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY?
This depends on your skin as everybody is different but customers typically find that they benefit most from six treatments.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
When we remove hair with Lynton ‘Excelight’ technology, light is selectively absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair follicle. The light energy targets and heats the pigment, efficiently dismantling the hair follicle without causing harm to the surrounding cells. The process is simple. The applicator is placed on the skin and a short pulse of light is released targeting many follicles, simultaneously. The applicator is then moved to the neighbouring area of skin and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated.
AM I SUITABLE FOR TREATMENT?
Most people are suitable for treatment. Best results are often achieved with fair skin and dark hair, as dark hair is more easily treated due to its high concentration of melanin. If you wish to book this treatment, you will first receive a consultation to determine if this treatment is suitable. Grey and white hair has no melanin so is not suitable for this treatment.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
The duration of treatments can vary, ranging from as brief as 10 minutes to an hour, contingent on the size of the treatment area.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Your skin may be a little red after the treatment and the hair follicles may be swollen and bumpy but this usually fades within a few hours.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY?
This depends on the hair being treated and because only hair that is actively growing is removed, multiple treatments are needed. Treatments can be done every 4 - 8 weeks, depending on the area treated, until the desired result is achieved. Many customers find that they get their best results after six treatments.

Hydro Peel
This treatment used a combination of three solutions. The AHA contains lactic and glycolic acid to dissolve keratin and smooths the skin's texture while cleansing the pores. The BHA solution contains salicylic acid to remove blackheads, sebum and cleanse deep into the pores which is perfect for managing congestion and bacteria.
Exfoliation
The Exfoliation Cleanser employs a one-time capsule for skin exfoliation, containing sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. When combined with the glycerol-based gel, it generates an effervescent effect, producing CO2 and releasing oxygen to increase red blood cells.
Electro -lon
The electro - lon technology is used for skin lifting and uses electroporation which increases the absorbency of the cell for produced penetration. By disrupting the top layers, it enables better absorption of the applied treatment. Through iontophoresis and gravity-defying tech, this device not only drives our Time Defence and brightening serums deeper into the skin's subsurface but also provides a mild muscle contraction and lifting effect.
Radio Frequency
Tri-polar Radio-frequency delivers the energy specifically into the dermis creating heat, increasing the temperature in the dermis to a constant 40-42c.
By heating the dermis, this causes an immediate contraction of the existing mature collagen cells, in turn stimulating fibroblasts action. This results in the production of new collagen, an increase in the diameter of the collagen and the spaces between the fibres are visibility reduced under the microscope increasing the density of the dermal surface.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound technology finds application in product infusion, particularly in the realm of cosmetics, where it imparts Thermal and Biochemical effects. The Thermal action induces a boost in blood circulation, fostering enhanced cell metabolism. Concurrently, the Biochemical effects initiate a micro-massage within the tissue, influencing fibroblasts and promoting the generation of new collagen. The ultrasound frequency facilitates the penetration of a greater quantity of active ingredients through the skin's barrier.
Oxygenation
Insufficient oxygen levels impede cell metabolism, hasten cellular aging, diminish skin firmness, and result in a pallid, ashen complexion. The oxygenation spray employs a Venturi effect, breaking down product molecules to facilitate optimal absorption and impart intense skin hydration. The application of oxygen through this method is beneficial in boosting cell metabolism and addressing these associated concerns. Additionally, the anti-bacterial effect on congestion arises from the inhospitable environment oxygen creates for certain bacteria that cannot thrive in its presence.
Fire & Ice
The fire and ice plate functions as a dual-modality handpiece, capable of generating up to 42°C warmth and a minimum of 5°C ice-cooling. By cyclically subjecting the skin to a temperature of 42°C, the production of heat shock proteins is stimulated. These proteins are synthesized by cells in response to challenging conditions, aiding in skin repair and fortifying elasticity. The 42°C temperature also promotes pore dilation, facilitating deep cleansing. In contrast, the 5°C temperature swiftly constricts pores, reduces surface blood supply, delivering an immediate brightening and tightening effect on the skin, while also sealing in moisture.
